SUSHI PORTRAIT ARTIST · WHERE ART MEETS SUSHI
MY NAME IS
BRYAN SISK.
In my hands, salmon becomes shadow, tuna becomes light, and rice holds the soul of a portrait together.
I’m a 27-year sushi chef who creates hyper-realistic portraits entirely from raw ingredients — tuna, salmon, ube sauce, nori, tobiko. No paint. No digital tools. Each piece is built by hand, photographed at its peak, and then eaten.
After the loss of my brother, I found healing through creation. Sushi became more than sustenance — it became sanctuary. Through this deeply personal medium, I offer something raw, real, and unforgettable: a reminder that nothing lasts forever, and that’s what makes it matter.
It vanishes in an instant — and that’s exactly why you’ll never forget it.
SUSHI
PORTRAITS.
Every portrait begins as dinner. Built by hand from raw fish, rice, and sauce — each piece lives for only a few hours, photographed at its peak, then eaten. Hover any portrait to see what it was made from.
THE
REACTION.
From press to private events, from media partners to art critics — here’s what happens when people encounter Bryan’s work for the first time.
The art disappears. What stays is the proof that something impossible was made from something ordinary.
